Projects, not rooms

Sourcing and specification for hotels, restaurants, offices and developments, delivered internationally.

A separate service, with a single point of contact

Contract work runs on different terms to a private purchase: repeat quantities, staged delivery dates, finish consistency across a floor, and a specification that has to survive contact with a build programme.

We run it as its own service. One person carries the project from first enquiry to final delivery, and every commitment on volume, lead time and finish is confirmed in writing.

MeridienMarketing

The contractor behind the work

Our commercial work stands on one principal contractor: Meridien Hospitality Group of North Carolina, furnishing hotels since 1990.

Meridien manufactures furniture and fittings for mid-luxury to luxury hotels, resorts and special-use projects. Its factories sit in North America, South America, Europe and Asia; its projects stand in more than sixty countries.

The scale runs from boutique houses of a hundred keys to hotel groupings of three and a half thousand. Work begins only once a design is at least ninety per cent complete.

Four parts carry a project between them: marketing and procurement, a ten-thousand square metre warehouse at the port of Wilmington, a B2B arm, and the hospitality team itself. Unlike most FF&E houses, Meridien takes on furniture and fittings only.

What Meridien takes on

Furniture and fittings only, carried from budget review to the destination port.

Manufacture

Partner factories matched to each project's standard: custom wood finishing, upholstery, glass, metal work, stone and veneer.

Sourcing & value engineering

Every budget and design reviewed for alternatives before production, with factories selected against quality standard and delivery date.

Global logistics

A 10,000 square metre consolidation facility at the port of Wilmington: receiving, inspection, storage, documentation and freight to any destination port.

Project management

Sourcing, proposals, invoices, production tracking and approvals run on one platform, and no order changes without the client's sign-off.

Production lead times

Three and four star work runs 45 to 70 days in production; five star and above, 90 to 120. Samples ship ten to twelve weeks after shop drawings are approved.

In the Gulf, represented by MarVista

Meridien's in-country partner for Saudi Arabia and the GCC, announced as a joint venture in January 2024.

MarVista Design Company supplies furniture and related items to the hospitality and contract trades. In the MENA region it holds what PrestigeHome holds in Ireland: financing, import, storage and installation, from the destination port onward.

Its work runs to KSA and GCC hospitality projects from four to seven stars, at moderate to luxury level, drawing on the same range of factories and made-to-order workrooms Meridien specifies from.

Your Home, Our Passion

In Ireland, represented by PrestigeHome

Meridien carries each project as far as the destination port. From there an in-country partner holds responsibility — import, storage, installation. In Ireland, that partner is PrestigeHome.

The distinction is deliberate. Meridien is the contractor, and its factories and logistics stand behind the work. PrestigeHome is an independent Irish firm; the contract, the contact and the delivery are held here.

What we take on

Sourcing

Locating specific pieces, comparable alternatives and full-floor quantities across the supplier range, with availability and lead time confirmed before quotation.

Collections for hotels

Guest rooms, suites, lobbies and public areas. Selections built for repetition without the result reading as repeated.

Restaurants & offices

Front of house, private dining, reception and executive spaces, specified against commercial wear and cleaning regimes.

Project collections

Developments and multi-unit schemes, phased to a build programme with delivery dates agreed against the site sequence.

Clients

We work directly with operators and with the practices specifying on their behalf.

How a project runs

Stage one · Brief and scope

Project type, quantities, site locations, programme dates and budget band. We establish what is fixed and what is still open.

Stage two · Selection and confirmation

A shortlist against the brief, with availability, lead time, finish options and landed cost confirmed against supplier records before anything is priced.

Stage three · Delivery

Phased against the build sequence, with delivery windows agreed in writing and a single contact for the duration.

Lead times and compliance

We fulfil internationally. Lead time and freight are quoted per piece and per destination against confirmed supplier data, never estimated. Lighting is unavailable for specification pending EU electrical compliance — see Lighting.
