The studio

John-Richard is our first brand, working across furniture, decorative objects and wall art. The range spans upholstered seating, cabinets and credenzas, mirrors, and decorative pieces in glass, porcelain and brass.

The character sits in the finishing: gold and silver leaf laid by hand, gesso, veneer that reads differently as the light moves. Two pieces of one reference will not match, and we say so before an order is placed.

Hand-applied finishes
Gold leaf, silver leaf and gesso are laid by hand. Two pieces of one reference will not match, and the piece you are sent is confirmed against the record rather than the photograph.
Lead times
Confirmed per piece, in writing, before an order is placed. We do not quote one until John-Richard has given it.
Prices
No price is published until we have entered one ourselves. Until then a piece reads Price on enquiry and the figure is confirmed in writing.
